Ireland, Photography, TravelI was looking at a panel a friend of mine prepared for his MFIAP submission, Gabriel O’Shaughnessey and was fascinated by his shots of old abandoned houses. So I decided that the next opportunity, I would give it a go. Last weekend I was in Macroom in west Cost and had accesss to an old abandoned shop so these are my first attempt….. Two of the images are HDR, the rest are straight single shots. The black & White processing was done in Silver Efex Pro 2. Apart for the picture that appears in a number ofthe shots, everything else was in the shop and I did a little re-arranging to suit compositions. There was not a lot left of the shop itself, just the old cigarette cabinet.
