Camera Club, Photography
For the last couple of years, I’ve not joined the rest of the club on the Monday evening outings – a combination of lethargy and repeat locations dampened my enthusiasm. This year, I intend to make an effort and on the first night out, I brought my Fuji X-T1 mirrorless camera to give it a try out. Here are some of the images – mostly taken with either a  14mm and a 60mm lens. I have to say I am seriously impressed with this camera. For those interested, all of the post processing was done in Lightroom

Ireland, Photography
I’ve been out on the Monday night trips with the camera club and to say the least, the weather has not been kind to us. Most nights have meant the conditions have been “challenging” in terms of light and conditions. I have a few images that I processed using Nik Software HDR Pro. One from Howth (where the light was good ironically) and 2 from Ballinafagh where the light was dull and overcast. One image is of a church just outside Ardclough – its the burial site of Arthur Guinness. All the images are generated from multiple exposures, and the black & white  conversions were done with Nik Silver Efex Pro 2 The image with the church is a work in progress, I need to get rid of the artifacts in the window
