I have been involved in photography for the last 15 years. My interests include travel, people and nature/wildlife. I am a member of Celbridge camera club. At the moment, I am involved at a national level with the IPF being a member of council for the last 10 years In 2004, I applied for a licentiate distinction with the IPF (LIPF) and was successful, and in 2008, I followed up with an associateship panel (AIPF). In 2016 I applied for my fellowship and happily was successful in that endeavor in September 2016. In parallel to this, I have been working toward a set of FIAP distinctions (Federation Internationale Art Photographique) and so far, have gained an EFIAP distinction and was awarded EFIAP/b in 2017 and an EFIAP/s in 2018 My passions in photography are people in their environment and the natural world. My interest in photographing the natural world also reflects a desire to protect and enhance our environment.
